Biography

Joaquín Boz
Rojas (Buenos Aires), Argentina. 1987

He studied at the Faculty of Humanities and Arts of the National University of Rosario and attended workshops with Claudia del Río, Ernesto Ballesteros, Rafael Cippolini and Valentina Liernur. In 2011 he participated in the Artists Program of the Torcuato Di Tella University. Among other collective exhibits he participated in Oh, James, you are so smart … at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rosario, the Biennial of Young Art of Buenos Aires, the Braque Prize of the National University of Tres de Febrero and Curriculum O, Ruth Benzacar Art Gallery, Buenos Aires. In 2009 he received the National Drawing Acquisition Prize of Santa Fe and in 2014 he was awarded with the First Prize in the LXVIII National Hall of Rosario. He has exhibited his paintings in different cities of the world: Los Angeles, Bogota and Mexico City. Lives and works in Buenos Aires.

2010 Scholarship to participate in the Seminar of Professionalization of Artists of La Hermana Favorita, performing workshop with Ernesto Ballesteros, Rafael Cippolini and Julia Converti.
